NAKEYA B (PHOTOGRAPHER)

Nakeya B is a NJ/NY based photographer, she mainly specializes in portraiture, fashion, and documentary photography. I think her work is amazing to say the least, she has a VERY diverse style, and always seems to capture her subject(s) in a way that’s almost statue-like, they always seem to own the frame. Her use of color is very on purpose…pushing it when need be, and falling back when it’s necessary for her idea. Her black and whites are striking as well, often times they evoke a feeling of nostalgia and soul.
She was a supporter of my blog, and that’s how I was introduced to her work…very glad that I was. Get hip to more of her work here.

CAMERON DAVIS (PHOTOGRAPHER)

Cameron Davis is one of my favorite photographers these days. I was introduced to his work a while back when he discovered the Stuyvesants project and reached out. The style of the portraits are phenomenal, from the color, composition, the capture of the subject matter, the grain, the ideas…and the edge. I strongly recommend going and checking out his work, you can view it here.
