Man, I can't even express how happy this post made me. "Bubblin'" is one of my favorite songs of all time. I've been trying to find that mp3 for ever.

Enormous thanks friend. Great work here.

I remember walking into Blue Note Records in N. Miami back in 2000. I saw this burgundy covered CD with three cartoon-ish faces on the front, under the title J-88. I looked on the back and saw it was produced by Jay Dee (having no idea it was an SV album). I bought it just because Dilla produced it, but to find out it was an Slum alias made it that much better. Still have the original CD 10 years later on Landspeed Records!
Classic times with a classic group. Long live SV!

This is dope. Immediately called to mind "The Monster Is Zero" from that King Geedorah joint cuz DOOM used "The Saddest Thing" from the same Idris Muhammad album. "Power of Soul" is one my favorite albums in my collection, I've had it for a long time. Plus that line-up is KILLER. Idris Muhammad, Bob James, Grover Washington, Jr., Randy Brecker, Gary King, Joe Beck, and Ralph MacDonald. WHAT?! But then again, it is a CTI album.
