Big time Sylvers fan and I own all 3 of the classic albums, bought at the time they were released. I've always thought the comparisons between the Jackson 5 and the Sylvers was pretty lazy assumption. Besides being African-American and being from a large families is the only correlation between the groups. lol Besides the Sylvers has ladies in the group and unlike the Jackson 5 they wrote their own material. I hope everyone has had a chance to see the group on Unsung, if not it can viewed on YouTube. I would also urge everyone to please sign the petition requesting all parties that own their respective works re-released their entire discography.
